10 Top Tourist Attractions in the USA – Travel Video

As one of the largest and most diverse countries
in the world, The United States boast an amazing amount of travel destinations ranging from
the skyscrapers of New York and Chicago, the natural wonders of Yellowstone and Alaska
to the sunny beaches of California and Florida. Here’s a look at the top tourist attractions
in the USA: Number 10. French Quarter. New Orleans, Louisiana, is made up of several
unique districts, but none is so famous as the French Quarter. Also known as the Vieux Carre, the area truly
explores the rich French colonial influences on the city of New Orleans. Incredible architecture abounds, with the
St. Louis Cathedral being the main attraction. The French Quarter boasts the Moon Walk, a
paved walkway next to the Mississippi River, as well as Bourbon Street, the undeniable
hub of nightlife, drinking and entertainment in the city. Number 9. White House. The White House in Washington DC is the official
residence and office of the President of the United States. It was built between 1792 and 1800 and first
used by President John Adams. If you’re lucky enough to get inside on a
public tour, you’ll see several rooms in the main residence. Tours are available only for groups of 10
or more and must be requested up to six months in advance through your member of Congress
or your country’s US Ambassador. Number 8. Denali National Park. The Denali National Park and Preserve is located
in Interior Alaska and contains Mount McKinley, the highest mountain in North America. The word “Denali” means “the high one”
in the native Athabaskan language and refers to Mount McKinley. In addition, the park protects an incredible
wilderness area that contains grizzly bears, caribou, moose, wolves, and numerous other
creatures. Number 7. Las Vegas Strip. The gambling mecca of the world, Las Vegas
is situated in the midst of the southern Nevada desert landscape. Casinos can be found throughout Las Vegas,
but the strip, a stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard South, contains the most of them. It features giant mega-casino hotels, decorated
with lavish care and attention to detail to create a fantasy-like atmosphere. The casinos often have names and themes that
evoke romance, mystery, and far-away destination. Number 6. Kilauea. Kilauea is the most recent of a series of
volcanoes that have created the Hawaiian Archipelago. It is a very low, flat shield volcano, vastly
different in profile from the high, sharply sloping peaks of stratovolcanoes. Kilauea is one of the most active volcano
on the Earth and for that reason an invaluable resource for volcanologists. Thirty-three eruptions have taken place since
1952, not including the current eruption which started on January 3, 1983 and is still ongoing. Number 5. Niagara Falls. Situated between the state of New York and
the province of Ontario, Niagara Falls is one of the most spectacular natural wonders
on the North American continent. Niagara Falls is actually three different
falls, the American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls and Horseshoe Falls. Horseshoe Falls is located on the Canadian
side while the other are located in New York. With more than 14 million visitors each year
it is one of the most visited tourist attractions in the world. Number 4. Golden Gate Bridge. The Golden Gate Bridge is a suspension bridge
spanning the Golden Gate, the strait between San Francisco and Marin County to the north. The bridge took four years to build, and was
completed in 1937. The Golden Gate Bridge was the longest suspension
bridge span in the world when it was completed, and has become an internationally recognized
symbol of California. The famous red-orange color of the bridge
was specifically chosen to make the bridge more easily visible through the thick fog
that frequently shrouds the bridge. Number 3. Yellowstone. Yellowstone National Park was the world’s
first national park, set aside in 1872 to preserve the vast number of geysers, hot springs,
and other thermal areas, as well as to protect the incredible wildlife and rugged beauty
of the area. Yellowstone lies on top of a gigantic hotspot
where light, hot, molten mantle rock rises towards the surface. Subsequently, the park contains half of all
the world’s known geothermal features, with more than 10,000 examples of geysers and hot
springs. In addition, grizzly bears, bison and wolves
can all be found within the park borders. Number 2. Manhattan. Manhattan is one of New York’s five boroughs
and is what people most often think of when they picture New York City. It’s familiar skyline and sights have been
featured a thousand times on screen. Here you can walk in the shadow of the skyscrapers,
picture the Statue of Liberty, see a Broadway show , climb the Empire State building, stroll
Central Park, window shop on 5th Avenue or stagger around a museum. Number 1. Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon is located in northern Arizona
and is one of the great tourist attractions in the United States. Carved over several million years by the Colorado
River, the canyon attains a depth of over 1 mile and 277 miles long. The Grand Canyon is not the deepest or the
longest canyon in the world but the overwhelming size and its intricate and colorful landscape
offers visitor spectacular vistas that are unmatched throughout the world.

  1. Chicago not on there? Really??? Smh There are better tourist attractions in Chicago than the ones you showed in the video. The Bean, Museums, Millenium Park, Sears Tower, John Hancock Building, Wrigley Field, Shedd Aquarium. The list goes on and on and on. Try again.

  2. I have always been looking for an opportunity to book hotel rooms in an inexpensive way. I always wanted to travel cheaper, and that means more! And now we are developing a platform for the cheapest hotel reservations, without intermediaries, without commissions – directly. This will drastically change the tourism industry I think!

  3. I know it's corny but I would have listed one of the Disney parks (preferably Disneyland the original). They are so magical, influential, and idiosyncratic.

  4. New Orleans French Quarter 0:47 , Washington White House 1:46 , Alaska Denali National Park 2:47 ,Las Vegas 4:03 ,Hawaii Kilauea 5:08 ,Niagara Falls 6:22 ,San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge 7:40 ,Wyoming Montana Idaho Yellowstone 8:35 ,New York Manhattan 9:44 ,Grand Canyon 11:01 。

  5. Grand Canyon starts as miles of completely flat platform that suddenly opens up in front of you with the view down from mountain high.

  6. Grand Canyon number 1? I mean, it’s fine, but I don’t think someone would travel overseas to see some deserted mountains… I mean if you live in the USA is probably something to check out, but from that I think it would be better to go somewhere else.

  7. I’ve been to Las Vegas, The Grand Canyon, Mt Rushmore, and Niagara Falls. If you go on a vacation I recommend flying into Las Vegas. Then, enjoy some there and rent a car. Travel to the Grand Canyon and visit numerous towns and national parks.

  8. You have so much to explore here in the US..Truely a heaven for travel lovers..Hope I can cover at least a few..You can't miss the small ones which are equally awesome as the big ones..Hope I can cover some in my channel..

  9. Nice cheery music to go with the presentation. There are several more places that should have been covered – may be as part of top 20 or 30.

  10. No matter the season, there are many fun things to do in Lake Tahoe. Summer promises legendary, heart-pounding downhill single track and bike paths for social spins.

Hike your heart out, get your bootie in a boat or to a beach. Which beach? Well, there are beaches with restaurants, with marinas and water toys, beaches with live music that beg for a sunset bbq and secluded ones that whisper quiet relaxation in the sun. All with views of spectacular Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada’s.

  12. warning to all world tourism better not to visit terrorist Hitler country. You may be kidnapped, faced police brutality, racism, drug, surveillance by their apple vodafone ATT Ericson anywhere you go, you sleep as you may refer to Snowden incident, wikileaks. Your life may at great danger. This is a double standard hypocrite country. Not a real democracy country. They always invaded other countries, support other nations opposition to overthrown the elected government, creating war and sell weapon to make blood money from bombing murdering slaughtering refugee incident. It's an evil terrorist government.

  13. Actually, there’s a crystal cave in Pennsylvania, in Allentown. It’s beautiful, and it’s one of two of the only caves that have the lion tail crystal thing. The other place is New Mexico.

  14. Been to them all except Denali and Niagara Falls. As an American I would not agree that these are the top 10 places to visit in our country. I mean totally depends on what you are interested in. I would not put Las Vegas, Manhattan or French Quarter on my list as I am not particularly a city person. Chicago??? The murder capital of the US? I don't think so. I mean Golden Gate Bridge? It's wonderful but not on my top10 list; perhaps San Francisco would be as it is my favorite US city, also like San Diego as far as US cities go. The California redwoods would definitely be at the top of my top ten list and they are not included at all in this video; I would guess that the person who made this list is not an American nor spent a whole lot of time in this country. There are places in northern Michigan as the Leelenau Peninsula and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore that I would include on my top ten list, but again these are not mainstream places mentioned in generic top ten lists made by foreigners! Sleeping Bear Dunes was voted the most beautiful place in the USA by the way. The Badlands in S. Dakota are pretty amazing; many places in Arizona other than the Grand Canyon are worth visiting as Sedona and Saguaro National Park. New England, Maine and Vermont are worth visiting in the fall for unmatched beauty in fall colors! Panama City Beach in Florida is one of the most lovely white sand beaches that I have ever been to. Washington State and Mt. Rainier would probably be on my list as well and then there is Colorado. I could go on and on with places that to me are more worthy, beautiful and interesting than those mentioned in this video.
