Driver speaking in Chinese… Corinne saying “Merry Christmas” in Chinese It’s amazing. Wow! Oh my goodness… Guys this room worths like $500, and I’m only paying $100! This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in!! We arrived Shanghai at 2pm in the afternoon, after checking into the hotel, out first stop is Tianzi Fang Tianzi Fang is a touristic arts and crafts enclave, that has developed from a renovated traditional residential area in the French Concession area of Shanghai. It is now home to boutique shops, bars and restaurants. It feels so pretty. I know right!! Let’s get in!! Corinne asking about the ingredients of the dumplings in Chinese… My friend Corinne, she’s an American studying in China, She speaks really good Chinese! Looks delicious! Yayy selfie time!! Wait a minute, what are these?? It looks like passports. Perfect mother, perfect girlfriend… Do you want one? No, no… There is nothing inside Yeah, it’s for you to write (something down). Wow, what’s that? “Ring for a kiss” Not now… Why not? This is cute! Cool place! What did you get? That’s all I got, those are cup noodles. And dumplings. They are super cute! And these are only 10! 10 dollars? No, no 10 yuan! Which is like 2 dollars aye! Tianzi Fang? Very Interesting (Corinne answers in Chinese) Green!!! Oh that’s so cool!! After visiting Tianzi Fang, we decided to have Chinese Hotpot for dinner. Welcome to Daimei, How many people? (waitress speaks in Chinese) 2 You scan the QR code, and order on your phone. (waiter speaks in Chinese) The menu is on your phone. We ordered a lot, cuz we both were starving, and the price is so affordable! A bottle of water for 2 yuan, which is like 40 cents (Australian dollars), and a bowl of rice for 1 yuan, 20 cents. And for the whole dinner, costs 150 yuan, 30 dollars! 30 Australian Dollars!! Bon Appétit (enjoy your meal in French) I’m so full right now!! Same! That was great though, I’d come back again next time! After dinner, we headed to M1NT Shanghai nightclub, which is rated as the number 1 nightclub in Shanghai, hidden on top of an office building. The club features 2 bars, a dance floor, many VIP lounges , and an amazing 180 degree view of Shanghai. The entry fee is 20 yuan, which is equivalent to 20 Australian Dollars. The club offers a wide range of alcohols, many cost almost 9000 yuan (1800 Australian Dollars) per bottle!!! We ordered 2 cocktails, They are definitely overpriced in Chinese Standard, one costs 90 yuan, and the other is 130, which is around 20-25 Australian Dollars. This place is definitely for the rich guys! Cheers!! And at midnight, there is this (kinda) dance! I can’t believe, this is in Shanghai!! The dance is about 5 minutes long. I mean, you get the idea!! Booty Dance! Ooooiiiii!! Anyways, we had a great night at M1NT! All you need to know is that it’s the best nightclub in Shanghai, even in China!
