Camping in Newfoundland and Labrador

( ♪♪ ) Woman:
I find a lot of
people say to me, “When we come to the park here,
we kind of get back to nature. “We like the campfires, we like just relaxing,
enjoying the beauty.” Then waking up in
the morning with the
sound of the birds… Oh, there’s nothing
like it, eh? Back to nature. When the campers come here to
the park, they have an option. If they have an RV,
there are RV parks. Or if they’re tenting,
we have tent sites. Also, if you want
to go back country, you can sign up
and go back country camping. Of course, we have the oTENTiks, which are equipped
with everything that you need for camping. I get the first-hand privilege
of telling the people all about this
beautiful spot, you see. They can do a hike within walking distance
from the campsite. Or if they want to
take in a show… Woman:
Your tickets… What say you to
that, eh, lass? Louise Decker:
They can also do
the Tablelands walk. Or they can listen
to the Mudge’s story at Broom Point fishing exhibit. They can do a boat tour
at Western Brook. There’s so many, many things
to do here within the park. It’s amazing. Its beauty is what
attracts people. And not only that,
it’s the people here. They have a unique way with
them that the people enjoy. Sometimes we talk a bit fast, and sometimes you
have to slow down. But, anyways, they get the
gist of it and they enjoy it. Always remember, when you go
back to your place of work, and you’re very busy,
and things get stressful, think about
Gros Morne National Park. This is what it’s all about. ( ♪♪ )

  1. Lived in Goose-Bay, Labrador a few years when I was a kid. Very beautifull place. Getting there by car is pretty shitty unlesss you have an SUV or pickup and the winter is long. But its a nice place during the summer months. Id like to go back someday ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Ohhhh! This is amazing!! Amazing place!! Thank God everyday for this grace. My dream is living in Canada ?
