Egypt Travel | Ancient Monuments Results In Numerous Scam Artists Egypt I learned about Egypt my entire
life and I was so excited to visit a country with such a fascinating and rich
history I had such an amazing time seeing such wonderful and incredible
sights built thousands of years ago but I soon realized that with all the
tourists coming into Egypt several locals have learned that they can make a
lot of money by scamming tours well this happens all around the world
Egypt was one of the worst places taxies will be ten times the price for
foreigners watch out when you buy things because if
the seller gives you something to hold he then may refuse to take it back and
say you bought it because you touched it I had people sell me things and when I
thought the item they accidentally gave me the wrong change several times but if
you don’t allow anyone to rip you off traveling to Egypt can be super
affordable like visiting the pyramids is five dollars and the valley of Kings is
$12 hotels are super cheap I got a hotel
with a kitchen and living room for $15 taxis are also super affordable if you
pay the local price I was surprised to learn how basically all Egyptians live
along the Nile and almost all the rest of the area is very isolated and desert I was super excited to visit the Rosetta
Stone Museum which was right where the Rosetta Stone was discovered and see it
except I found out later that that was a replica because the British had the
rosetta stone in their Museum in London which makes no sense why the British
would be able to have such an importing Egyptian monument throughout my travels
especially in the Middle East and all over the place I have met so many
Egyptians they are energetic fun and kind I just wish there wasn’t so many
Egyptians at the tour sites trying to rip off all the tourists so everybody
could see how beautiful Egypt is
