Experience the new School of Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts

[Music] My name is Joe Baker and I’m the Dean of Centennial College’s School of Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts. I’ve found no matter what part of the business you want to work in, the magic of this industry can be captured in a single moment. It’s the moment when an experience creates a memory that lasts, a lifetime. At Centennial College we believe the best way to learn is through experience. In this school, students are inspired to launch their careers in any of the sectors of the industry we serve: Baking, Culinary, Events, Hospitality and Tourism. Our students enjoy programs that are delivered in a fully immersive and hands-on learning environment that is truly unique. Between our baking labs, culinary labs, beverage tasting room and technology-equipped classrooms, the learning spaces here are world class. It’s the experiential learning that happens in our Cafe and Restaurant and the Event Centre that make all the difference. Our students start gaining industry experience guided by industry professionals, right here on campus, before they enter the job market anywhere in the world. I believe that hospitality is the care for, and love, of a stranger. Come experience it for yourself. Our doors are always open and we are always looking for good people. Your career in hospitality, tourism and culinary arts, starts at Centennial College.

  1. If you want to be a chef work in a restaurant and sign on as an apprentice after a while.

I'm sure the same goes guest experience in hotel.

This can't possibly be worth the tuition dollars on the culinary side and is probably just as useless an investment for the hospitality side.

They spent a whole lot of money on this recruitment video making it crisp and polished because they want your money. Most schools that give you a decent return of investment don't.

Looks like a nice facility there, at any rate.
