Set in the foothills of the spectacular Canadian
Rocky Mountains the Fairmont Banff Springs hotel is located in one of the worlds most spectacular locations. The imposing brick facade of the Scottish
Baronial style hotel is dwarfed by the mountains all around yet still rests harmoniously on the hillside. The hotel sits in the stunning alpine environment of the world heritage listed Banff national
Park and has been named a National Historic site. Surrounded by an exquisite snow covered forest the hotel provides welcoming warmth in Banff’s
wintry conditions. Originally closed through the off season, winter is now one of the most popular times
to visit and offers a unique opportunity to relax in
a warm heated pool while enjoying the spectacular winter scenery. With a majestic foyer, grand reception rooms, and hallways of stone and marble, the interior of the hotel revisits days of
old world luxury. Dine in style overlooking some of Alberta’s
most beautiful mountain scenery. The Fairmont Banff Springs hotel is one of
Canada’s finest hotels and offers luxurious lodgings in an exquisite
natural setting.

  1. The main problem with this video is that you imply Banff ALWAYS has a 'wintry setting". Summer temperatures in July and August average 20-33 C / 70-90 F. , June and Sept can be just as warm with cooler nights, maybe almost down to the freezing point. Winter is mid November-early April, but the snow melts in the streets usually by April 1.
