Ryan is here, and he’s going
to show us everything that you can’t miss
in Hawaii, right? I’m going to do my best. You almost got him. Jump! You’ll regret it if you don’t. What are you doing? Oh my gosh! You guys will never guess what Shari’s excited
to do today. Hike. What? I didn’t hear you. I didn’t hear you. Hiking. Hiking! She’s excited to go hiking. Since when was Shari
excited to go hiking ever? Since when is Shari excited
to do anything outdoors? Maybe, it’s like the
Hawaiian magic that’s here. But you guys,
we’re going hiking! Ryan is here,
and he’s going to show us everything that you
can’t miss in Hawaii, right? I’m gonna do my best. We’re going to start
off paddle boarding, and then we’re going to see how many people can stay
on their board, and not fall in. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. I totally want
to stay on my board. I think I’m gonna do
it, like I– I think you guys would do good. You’ll do good super well. The beeper is just
going crazy right now. So we’ve been planning
Hawaii for months, but we also know
ourselves well enough that we’re lazy travelers, in other words,
we don’t want to do any work. And so we’re like, what can we do so we
get to see all of Hawaii without doing any work. We’re having MahinaHawaii
take us everywhere. If you guys are in Hawaii, and you want to see everything, all the little secrets
that the tourists don’t get to see, you want to have
someone native take you. you have to get
with MahinaHawaii. Want me to drop it? [inaudible] arm. You want a little bit
of looseness now. Russell. Russell, stand up! Yeah! I think Chad is up to something. What’s he gonna do? What’s the crap. He almost got [inaudible]. So close. You gotta splash him back now. Chad, what happened? Abby triumph! Where’s the– Where’s the person on the board? Mom, take the paddle. No! I’m not falling for that. Take the paddle. I’m serious, Mom. Take the paddle. Take the paddle [inaudible] on me. Who’s not talking now? You guys are lazy. I’m too lazy, I have to get to– Dad’s getting all
the muscles today. Yeah. Well, that’s… Nothing. The paddle board train. He’s in the bushes. He’s back into more bushes. Oh splash wars! Get them! What is she [inaudible] that
so [inaudible] about? Let’s get Chad. Get him back! Get him back. The backsplash is
very effective. Oh, no! I think Mom wants
part of the action. I do. Give me my kids. I’ve got duties to take. I’m trying to not go [inaudible]. Except I’m scared
because Chad’s bigger than me, and he could totally
take me down. There he goes. Oh, you almost got them. Get him. Let’s go! Get him. Stop it. All right. We’ll take a little breather. I’m surfing. You’re surfing. Say Cowabunga! Our friends here
from Mahina Hawaii did all the hard work for us,
and all we have to do– Yeah. I’ve been sitting here, like hitting my kids
with the towel to get the sand off of them, and they’ve done
all the hauling, and all the like the grunt work, and I just have to make sure
I watch my kids. Like they make it super easy. It’s been awesome. Next, we’re going to go
check out some waterfalls. Shortly after Kevin
and I bought our house where we live right now, we went on this nightly
ritual of watching Lost. It literally sucks
like two months of our lives. We’ll never get back. But it’s to this day, one of my favorite memories is
Kevin is we get the kids down, we’d get like brownies
and ice cream, and we would sit and watch Lost. And in fact, Ryan told us
that they filmed Lost here. Pretty intense. Another reason why I
love coming with people who know what they’re doing is
I don’t have to be the mean mom. The one of the hardest
things about traveling with teenage boys is they want
to do all the dangerous things. At least my son does, and I’m always
the overprotective mom. Like no, you can’t do that. I’ve just sent
him off with Ryan, and I’m like, if Ryan says it’s okay,
then you can do it. And so Ryan’s showing him,
don’t jump off this cliff. This is too high. Okay, you can jump
on this cliff, but here’s some tips
on where to land. It’s just been really nice that Chad gets
the vacation he wants with a little high adventure, without like the overprotective
mother by him. This has been one
of the best days with my family. Chad. Chad, don’t do it. Hey! She will not trust
you ever again. Apparently, this is known
only to the locals. That’s really nice
of them to bring us here. Hey Abby, once you do it once,
you’ll be fine. Yeah, Abby. Once you do it, the first, it seems scary,
but you got this. Chad’s like, come on, Abby. Come on, I wanna go again. Oh, no! Okay, there goes Chad. Okay. Abby’s gonna try
for a second time. Hey, Abby! You can do it, Abby. Come on, Abby. You can do it. You can do it! If you were in Hawaii,
would you jump? Yes or no? Would you be one who just jumps and does it,
and just says, “Oh, this is
a once-in-a-lifetime thing. I’m just going to do it.” Or would you be scared
for your life, and say, “No, nothing is worth
this kind of risk. There is no way I’m jumping.” What would you do? What’s Abby gonna do? I want– I’m really curious. Like honestly, I’m 50/50. I think she really
will get energy, and then find
her courage and jump, but then, part
of me is like no, she’s just not going to do it. Abby’s gonna go! Abby’s gonna do it. Come on, Abby! Jump! Come on. [inaudible]. Do it! You’ll regret it if you don’t. Okay, here goes Ryan,
one of our tour guides. Oh my gosh. What is he doing? What are you doing? Oh my Gosh. Guess it’s my turn. Ready? 1, 2, 3. I need somebody to push me in. Really? Why? Because I can’t do it on my own. You got it. You can do it. Yeah, just take a step out. You can do it. You can do it. No. No, I’m too scared. [inaudible]. Just do it! It’s nothing. Watch. Here I go. I can’t stand! Yeah, you got it. I’m gonna hit the rocks. Yeah, you [inaudible]. Just jump off. 1! 3, 2, 1! Let’s do it! Yea. Wow! I can’t believe she did it. Chad’s totally going up, and jumping on
the highest one. Oh God. Assure me it’s safe. If he lands on his feet,
he should be good. If you belly flops,
I can’t promise you anything. And you’re coaching them, right? We’ll, we got the other Ryan up
there telling him what to do, walking him through steps. If you fell on your belly,
would you die? Here he goes. 3, 2, 1. Jump in! That was a perfect landing. Thank you for helping
him get all that out. It’s a healthy way
for him to live. He needs to get that adrenaline
out here and there. No, he does. It helps with the aggression,
and I’m not good at that. I need other people
to help me with this. Parenting takes a village. Abby totally jump
and I missed it. I didn’t get it on camera,
but she jumped. Just for the record. Where they filmed Jumanji, and the jump that he did
the jump is where– No way. The Rock pushed Jack Black off. Right there. Dude. No way. Jack Black might have
touched this rock. So, this has been the most
amazing day working with Ryan, and Ryan has been unreal.>>I mean–
>>Is it Ryan and Ryan? Or Brian and Brian? Ryan and Ryan. So what’s been you
guys’s favorite thing? What’s been your favorite thing? I’m probably gonna like
snorkeling the best. You’re gonna like
snorkeling the best. What about you Russell? Snorkel. We haven’t even done it yet. Yeah, well, it’s probably
going to be the best. You think it’s going
to be the best? Okay. Well, you heard it from them. We’re going
snorkeling right now. This is the first time that we’ve taken had
big vacation without my parents, and I was just
thinking how today, especially right now
where we’re in the water, we could not– We cannot be doing it
without Mahina Hawaii. It’s been really helpful to have
these extra adults on hand, and it kind of feels like you’re just
visiting old friends, and they’re just taking you to show you all the places
where you’re supposed to go. But they’re like helping
Eve into the water, helping the little kids. It’s been super helpful
to have extra hands on hand. Eve, are you get it do it? You can do it. So [inaudible]. You’re just gonna put
your face under, and keep breathing like you are. I don’t wanna leave. I don’t wanna go out tonight. We are back from
our big excursion all day, and Kevin took the kids to the cultural center
to get a bite of dinner, and we’re like,
Eve, come on. We’re waiting for you. Come on! And so I walked upstairs, and she had put
herself to sleep. I hope you guys had as
much fun watching this video as we had making it. It was not sponsored. It’s just… We came across a service that we have truly
fallen in love with, and I know how many people
love coming to Hawaii. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime trip
for a lot of people, and if you come here,
you want to do it right. So we’re just sharing
some things that we have found that have been
super helpful to us. Good night.
