I am at Redhill MRT Station. Today will see some Trails and Parks at Southern Ridges. Board in Bus no. 145 from Redhill Bus station. Enjoy street views from the bus window. De-board from the bus at Henderson Road bus station. Henderson Waves is a 274-meter-long (899 ft)pedestrian bridge. At 36 meters (118 ft) above Henderson Road, it is the highest pedestrian bridge in Singapore. The bridge has a wave-form made up of seven undulating curved steel ribs that alternately rise over and under its deck. Its shape allows it to have hidden recesses and shell-like niches, where pedestrians can sit and observe their surroundings. A dense hardwood used in heavy construction and which is found only in Southeast Asia. As dusk falls, visitors still linger to admire the bridge, which is illuminated to stunning effect by light-emitting diode (LED) lighting from 7pm to 2am every night. It is a 34-hectare park which is a popular place for wedding couples. Is also known as Terrace Garden. Terrace Garden consists of a series of semi-circular terraces situated at the top of the park. From here, you will be able to enjoy a breath-taking 360-degree view of Singapore. Forest Walk is a 1.3-kilometre-long (0.81 mi) walkway that cuts through about 50 metres (160 ft) through the secondary forest in Telok Blangah Hill Park The Forest Walk also connects to the Labrador Nature & Coastal Walk, also leading walkers to the Labrador Park MRT Station and Labrador Park. People come here for jogging and enjoying nature. Another photoshoot place for wedding couples.
