  1. The opening 10 seconds scared me. Hope the camera is alright! 😳 Beautiful shots of the snowy forest. Looks so peaceful. Then I remembered freezing my ass off in Bosnia. I couldn't feel my right foot for three weeks after I returned to someplace warmer. (Wisconsin 😁). I like you just silently going about camping: Silence speaks louder than words. 👍

  2. Awesome editing! Such a beautiful place. Thanks for sharing the beauty! I love the tin foil heat shield. Saves wood and probably works better. I'll have to try it.

  3. Eating like kings👍
    Saki it to me🍻🏕
    I need a Harry I 😌
Great video Rockie, glad to see you having fun. It shows

  4. Nice footages! You might fly your drone at the perfect timing. It's much better than mine. Thanks for joying the camping out with me. I'll upload my version of the video in 36 hours. Cheers!

  5. Japan is so beautiful your videos gave me an attitude adjustment the country is more then overcrowded cities. You looked happy camping with a friend why would you ever want to come back to the states. Excellent video. 😊

  6. Awesome intro! A beautiful place and time to be out enjoying nature, the sound of crunching snow underfoot and the crackle of a warm fire…….bliss! 👍👍👍

  7. missed the live chat but enjoyed watching the video, you and Harry-san had a good 3 days of camping, excellent drone footage

  8. You are pretty good to camp in backcountry of Nagano. I would like to go skiing ⛷ there one day .

  9. Awesome camp! Harry is quite the chef. Thanks for taking us along. This is someplace I'll never get to in my lifetime. I appreciate you showing it. Very cool 👍 No pun intended. Take care

  10. That was a great camping trip. Winter is the best time for camping as long as you are prepared which you obviously are!

  11. Wow, you definitely like to eat!

I do too, and those sausages and other meas looked good!

I pre-season and then wrap chicken, steak, sausage, mushrooms, peppers, etc., in several layers of aluminum foil, and then I put the food wrapped in foil in a freezer bag in the freezer.

When I go out backpacking I grab what I want to eat, put in my pack, and then I cook over a wood campfire, when I get to camp.

If it takes a few hours to backpack to my camp, the food slowly thaws out, again depending on the air temperature.

The foil prevents the food from burning easily while cooking over the flames, and it steams and is more moist when cooked in the foil.

I also carry freeze dried foods, which ae lightweight, and surprisingly good, and I use my Soto Japanese technology stove to boil water for freeze dried foods, rice, pasta, and oatmeal.

ThoseTuna, Chicken, and Salmon pouches are good to bring too!

Looks like you do a lot of car camping, which allows you to transport heavy gear and equipment like coolers, and Sake too!

    Good Luck!

  12. Epic video brother. I am sure you had to whittle that down from hours of footage. Every second of which would be just as epic.

  13. Great camp Rock! That stove is a beast. Without it, you guys would not have enjoyed such great cuisine. Thanks for sharing the beautiful country side with us.
