My name is Jeremy Jauncey, I am the
founder and CEO of Beautiful Destinations. I just gave a talk about
the power of digital mobile and social in nation and place branding, showed some
of the videos that we’ve made over the course of the last year and then we had
an amazing panel with some people that we work very closely with,
talking about their experiences of travel and tourism. Key insights are obviously the explosion
of mobile and social really in the travel and tourism industry, being an
incredibly positive place for tourism boards to spend their time, their energy,
their money in them, and their marketing. Especially video, so much of the content
now that is being consumed on the Internet is video so if they’re not investing in video,
it’s something they really should do. I think in 2019 we will see an explosion of tourism boards investing in video and spending even more time in digital and social. I was very lucky to give a keynote speech
here two years ago, just as the industry was starting to get
into digital and social, and it looks as though they’d really embraced it now.
So very exciting stuff in the future.
