  1. If you like the desert and desolation of nowhere, this is off the beaten path for sure; quite unique HD shots from a refreshing perspective. This guy needs hiring from the Big Boys of nature filming, TYVM.

  2. Great great video. You should come to ZA, De Hoop in September and do a similar video on Cape Agulhas and the whales. MFG. Karl

  10. My dear friend you have no idea where you have touched me with these videos. As a kenyan, i always pit east african ventures with southern african ventures. I kept hearing the term bushvibe being thrown around. Your videos have made me understand. Wow. That is serious desolation. I watched namibia, Botswana and Australia while puffing a bowl last night. Am obsessed. Please take your 4×4 to kenya and tanzania..please. i will be waiting.

  11. I'm Namibian but never had the chance to travel to literally ANY of these places. Thanks for showing me the journey Lucas.. 🙂

  13. This is a very beautiful documentary. How did you manage not to get lost, I mean how did you know where to go especially along the dirt roads? GPS? And was there any gas station along the way? I’d love to visit this country.

  16. thanks Lucas for coming to Namibia and for making this audacious documentary about my mother-land Namibia, not only that thanks for putting our isolated Namibia on the world map… I hope many will come again to see this natural beauty in real…

Thanks once more… I hope you will come back.

  19. Love the intro on this vid! Driving over the camera. Cool! This is super helpful. We will be travelling to Namibia in February and doing a trip of our own. Thanks for sharing!

  20. Excellent cinematography and narration… Fully motivated to do the Road trip South… Big Up from Nairobi, Kenya…???

  21. I’m upset at the use of drones. Birds and nearby animals can be severely disturbed by the sound and presence of a drone. It’s not worth it for YouTube views. Please be more considerate of how your actions affect wildlife.

  22. Hi, am planning trip to Namibia as well but want some tips on camping with SUV. Where is the place you stayed in the timeline @23:39? What did you do about the food resupply, toilets and shower? Your help would be appreciated!

  23. Amazing Documentary hands down especially the Desert parts was so amazing and intriguing to watch.
    Much love from a Kenyan
    Amazing amazing work

  24. Awesome. The video brought back good memories of Namibia and the drives I took whilst I stayed there for a few years. Beautiful beautiful adventures never to be forgotten. Thank you.

  25. Flew from Cape Town to Windhoek with Swiss German friend – feared for his reaction to heat… we hired a car & travelled on West side of Namibia… Tsumeb…Otjo…up to
Otjiwarango… then on to Etosha Game Reserve… 42* on days… Namutoni for few days… then to next camp – phew – thought Zambia had been hot… was wonderful to see Africa at her grandest… Oryx in prime condition in most desolate areas…miles & miles of no greenery – no water… yet in exquisite condition every one of them…

  26. For your next upload you might try letting the images speak for themselves and use the ambient sounds instead of music…? Otherwise……beautifully captured ofcourse .
