As per the inscription found here, it is said that they used to send money from here to Tirupathi to make ladoos the way we converse with humans, here people talk to God they fight with God Hassan districts, Belur taluks Halebidu Hobli here we are at a village called Narasipura here is an ancient Yoga Narasimha swamy temple come let us see that temple Namasthe my name is Narasimha Prasad i am the priest of this Yoga Narasimha swamy temple this is Yoga Narasimha swamy temple since this is a Narasimha swamy temple Hence this place got the name Narasipura this temple is of Hoysala times During Hoysala King Narasimha Ballals time this temple was constructed the specialty of this temple is that, during those days from here every day they used to send money to Tirupathi to make ladoos they used to send money from here that recorded inscription is found here Since it is a Temple of Hoysala period the temples workmanship is very nice this Narasipura during those days 600 houses of Brahmins used to reside here that agrahara was Narasipura During the attack of Mallik Kafur on Hoysalas all was destroyed what is this statue here? this was a Dwikuta or two shrines temple in those days during Mallik Kaffurs attack they got his statue and put it here outside this is statue of Lakshminarayana so no pooje for this temple? no pooje since this statue has been disfigured. Pooje is only for Yoga Narasimha swamy so from dwikutachala now this has become a single temple as i mentioned earlier about sending money from here to tirupathi for Ladoo that inscription is here this inscription was read understood and inform by the Archaeology department Dwarakeshava, Narayana Aluva , govinda Indra agni yama nirrti varuna vayu Kubera Isha Aṣṭa-Dikpālakaru or Guardians of the Directions this pillar looks different? this pillar was not there previously, this was later placed here for support since the roof was caving in who installed this pillar? the village people together placed this here there was a person named Kari gowdaru he was in Archaeology department after he retired he took interest in this temple he got the surrounding cleaned got the temple ready previously there was was a look of leakage lot of bats were there in the temple the temple was made ready this was in a condition as if it would fall down so they gave support by placing this pillar the villagers have helped a lot now this is under the protection of State Archaeology Department He was in the Central Archaeology departmetn on duty at hoysaleshwara halebidu temple after he retired he came here, he took the lead and got the work done he gathered villager and with their help the temple was renovated in the year 1994 here Yoganarasimha swamy is yoga posture doing tapas, is the beauty there is two feet high garuda base on that the gods statue is of six feet In the circumference of the statue Dashaavatara is depicted every Saturday there will be special pooje villagers to begin any work they request this god for his blessings taking the prasada or blessings here is a specialty here i f god gives from right side it is believed that their work will be successful to begin any work they ask for blessings here only then they move forward ,that is the belief here every Saturday people come by afternoon 2 or 2:30 if you come here you will find lot of people who come here to seek gods blessings they talk to god the same way as they converse with fellow human that is the way they talk to god they fight with god they will compel god to grant them Prasada every saturday there will be special pooje during Sravana there will be special abhisheka food offering is all there, on everyday basis other than saturday? other than saturday, tuesday if some one want to offer abhisheka then we conduct it on tuesday Sunday? if any visitors come then we open the temple for them and give them darshana of the god other days as well if people come, we make provision to get them the darshana here generally people come here on Saturdays saturdays we are there till 5 or 5: 30 he is in Yoga posture this belt near the hand that is Yoga danda in the hand is Shanka chakra

On one hand, it feels very happy to see such places, but on the other side, it feels sad that such treasures of our land has been destroyed by people like Malik Kafur and even our Government after Independence hasn't done much to improve and maintain them.
