A tourist has been slammed for offending local customs by wearing a thong bikini in a Bali supermarket   The woman’s outfit was blasted as ‘shameful’ on the Bali Expats Facebook group, with some questioning how the shopper got into the store  Critics claimed the attire was culturally insensitive and said she would not dare enter a shop in her own country dressed the same way  Others argued she should have worn a sarong in the store, although some expats rallied to her defence   According to the Daily Star , one wrote: “This girl has no respect for the locals ”  Another said the woman should feel ashamed, adding: “Ps the front parts were even smaller than the back  “I’m amazed that Pepito Umalas, a family residential area allowed this shopper into the store???
