Top 5 Travel Accessories Under $30

Hey everybody this is Aimee from One
Chance Travel I wanted to show you some of my favorite travel accessories that
have changed the way that I travel and pack. First up is the Wodison Hanging
Travel Organizer, I love this because it helps organize all my cosmetics and it’s
pretty small so it can fit in your suitcase really well or backpack so it
folds up like this, you can unclip it and actually hang it. As you can see there’s
a lot of different compartments so you can pack accordingly, it fits a lot and I
like to keep my cosmetics and medications in here. Lots of hair ties
for every trip! These pockets do zip individually so it’s easy to get things
in and out and you can separate them if you’re worried about your toothpaste
exploding, it’ll explode but only in this pouch. One of my favorite things about
this is that you can hang it so I typically hang these from shower curtain
rods, doorknobs, anything that I can access easily from the hotel bathroom. If
you’re staying in a hostel this will be especially important because you’ll be
sharing a bathroom so even when I stay at really nice hotels
sometimes there’s this much shower space and if you’re sharing that with anyone
else you’re gonna have this much space so this is really helpful because I can
hold all my stuff and have it easily accessible while I’m trying to take a
shower, do you want makeup, whatever it is and it fits pretty much everything that
you could need. Next up is the Unimi Unimi? Unimi? Does anyone know? Sleep mask so this comes with this little soft pouch which is great so it doesn’t get dusty
or dirty I hate eye masks that push down on your
eyes especially those people that wear contacts you know what I’m talking about –
those sleep masks are really uncomfortable. I like this one because it
doesn’t push down on your eyes while you’re trying to sleep. It’s hard enough
to sleep on a plane without the added annoyance of having your eyes squished
so I really like this sleep mask because it’s very soft and doesn’t put a lot of
pressure on your eyes, you can see here it gives a little gap so you can be more
comfortable while you’re sleeping adjust it with the velcro. I’m very sensitive to
light and I bought this hoping that it would block out light. It does a great
job of doing that so if you’re on a road trip or you’re trying to sleep on a
plane this will be very helpful, it doesn’t take up a lot of space and it’s
very lightweight. Next up is the S Yourself Microfiber Travel Towel, this
towel is a size large it’s 30 inches by 60 inches. It does fold
up pretty small it comes along with this cool case that matches I really like the
case except for the fact that it can be very hard to get it in and out you have to
fold it up really tight but, good to have regardless there’s a couple different
options for colors there is a sort of a galaxy pattern, nebula, stars; lots of
different kinds of these towels I prefer the microfiber ones personally because
they dry really fast so if you’re island-hopping for example and you only
have one night to dry your towel this towel will be dry. There’s other options
out there such as the Turkish towels, those are really nice and they’re a
little bit softer but they don’t dry that fast. Some hotels are quite stingy
with their towels especially on the cruise ships, so I used this when I went
to the Bahamas and it sort of had double function for
me – I’ve used it as a shower towel, I’ve used it a beach towel, you can also use
it as a blanket if you get cold. Packing cubes! These things are so useful in
keeping you organized so your suitcase doesn’t become a black hole this will
hold everything you need, you can categorize it by shirts or tops or
bikinis, whatever you need to organize it this will help you stay organized
throughout your trip which will lead to a lot less stress. The other benefit of
these is that once you’re done packing you can just put them in your suitcase,
take them out, use them, put them back. Mo disaster black hole suitcase when you
get home. This particular packing cube is from Amazon Basics, this is the medium
size which is 14 by 10 inches, this is the one that I prefer. They also have
ones that are this big and ones that are this big so whatever you need pack
there’s a good option for that. One of my newest favorite travel accessories is
the LUSH shampoo bar. It comes in this cool travel tin which can be reused over
and over. LUSH is a great option for those who are worried about how much
plastic they’re using, this little bar will actually last 80 washes and it’s
supposed to replace the three bottles of shampoo so not only are you helping the
environment by not using plastic shampoo bottles but you also get to carry
something much smaller. This is a lot cheaper option, a lot better for the
environment, and a lot easier so you just kind of rub it on your hair
it soaks up just like it would with any other shampoo you can take this through
airport security with no problems you don’t have to worry about the three
ounce rule or anything like that. Great for people that do not want to check a
bag no more liquids to worry about. These are
some of the travel accessories that have helped me travel smarter so question of
the day for you – tell me in the comments below what are some of the things that
you use while traveling that have changed the way you pack?
