Tourists Discover Canada

Are you having fun? Oh no, I’m not going in the water I’m watching her, she’s not the greatest swimmer So I better stay here and watch her to make sure everything goes well, right? There’s a spot on Vancouver Island that’s really well known, it’s called Robson Bight it’s a Killer Whale sanctuary because they come to the edge of the beach and rub against the rocks the goal of this trip is to be close to this sanctuary to head out kayaking every day to enjoy the beach honestly, just to be here and take advantage of this place because I’m going to show you how absolutely magnificent it is here it’s starting to become one of my favourite cities Montmorency Falls They look rather impressive I think what’s depressing me most I feel like I’ve hiked 5km but when I see this I think I might be nearing the end of my life The forests here resemble ours at home except here in Québec the difference is there’s always a possibility for an animal to appear a bear, a moose and because of that, you’re a little more careful There’s your reward We’re getting soaking wet, but we clearly don’t give a damn well, of course Cheers at the summit of the Hautes-Gorges it perfectly summarizes our ten day road trip through Québec forests, large spaces, mountains I’m a big lover of rivers and waterfalls, so for me it was like the Garden of Eden clearly, if you love nature, Québec will be paradise for you SUGAR SHACK You can see mountains in the background straight out to the ocean so today is our last day in Whitehorse we gave ourselves 10 days to get down to Vancouver we didn’t know how we would do it we didn’t want to take a plane or a bus we wanted to go by way of an adventure and then today, we come across a woman who is looking for people to join her and guess how? in an RV with beds it’s kind of improbable isn’t it? so long, Whitehorse How’s this for you? This has exceeded all expectations I’m at Algonquin Park in Ontario and I’m going to discover it by canoe why doesn’t anyone ever wait for me? It’s 5am, we got up at 4:30am in the hopes of being able to see some moose at sunrise I’m in Ottawa, the capital of Canada and I have a few things to show you, let’s go the thing about Ottawa is, when the weather isn’t too great there’s some great museum to check out my favourite is the Canadian Museum of History with its massive First Nations totem poles what’s really nice is they have public markets in the middle of the city which is rare for a North American city what’s great is the city can easily be discovered by boat bicycle and even by canoe well of course, you’re in Canada, even in the middle of the city, you can go canoeing In Toronto, they have a basketball team, a hockey team but if you come in the summer, you have to check out a Blue Jays baseball game it’s really a tradition to come with friends and family -what is this place? Little stroll on the mountain that dominates Montréal it’s awesome, it doesn’t even feel like you’re in a big city anymore see, people come here to ski cross country skiing people come here to run it’s nature right in the city, and it’s kind of incredible we’re off on our first activity by bike with our guide Jean-François we’re going to check out the Plateau-Mont-Royal neighbourhood, Mile End, we’re gonna get some Montréal-style bagels We just arrived on Saint-Laurent boulevard and it has instantly become one of my favourite areas of Montréal there are some insane murals, I love it there’s actually a festival held every year called Mural Festival the buildings in Montréal, well, there they are colourful houses just about everywhere, with trees lining the street there’s a park, another one, they’re everywhere it’s a city that seems very pleasant to live in Let’s try one of the local specialities they’re called BeaverTails, honestly I have no clue what they are one BeaverTail, with vanilla icing and crushed Oreo yes, it’s a dessert oh, it’s in the shape of a beaver tail exactly, it’s very Canadian Oh God, look at this thing, let’s try it Okay, got it, agreed Our final night together, we’re all around the fire Jim is wearing some cute socks except, apparently bears in Canada have antlers you can’t be serious I’m in the middle of the forest and I’m being licked by a deer is this normal? you’re so beautiful so long I admit you guys have seen me cry before but well, it’s been my dream for as long as I can remember that was something else welcome to Canada

  1. If it was not that cold, it would be the best country in the world. I look forward to my new life in Canada next year.

  2. Very well made…. thought it was an official video made by Canadian government. Thank you very much for sharing amazing video.

  3. Great video but should show more of New brunswick, more of BC rainforests and Vancouver and waaaayy more of the prairies and badlands

  4. Even if you are not from Canada one can say in their heart its likely and arguably the most gorgeous country on the planet.  From diverse climates and beautiful landscapes a land of piece and friendliness.  I have never seen a video that captures so much of Canada's beautiful and culture like this.  What an amazing film.  This should be in IMAX theatres around the globe to teach people of our wonderful heritage and landscapes.  Well done !

  5. Canada !! How can you NOT want to be here ?  How can you blame or hold back peaceful, innocent families from certain parts of the world from wanting to live here ? Our history is still in the making , look to the future and foresee the pride that will still be there as Canadians.

  6. A very beautiful tribute to a VERY Beautiful country. Just another reason why I love this land so dear. Thank you for this.

  7. Only in the Quebec segment, there are so many great places that were not featured (Saguenay, Gaspé, Tremblant, Outaouais, Charlevoix, etc.), I can only imagine for the rest. Again, great stuff.

  19. Every time I see this sort of think, it brings me to tears. I love Canada more than anything else in my life's experience. Bar none, it is the most beautiful place on this earth, and I have seen a fair portion of this earth.

My home, my land, my first true love. Being Canadian is the best part of me. I served, I bled, I do not regret one second of it. I am proud to be from Canada, and I only hope I represent Canada well. The pride which comes from being Canadian outshines anything else I can think of.

Happy 150th, Canada. Be proud. You are the greatest nation on this earth.

  20. There's no way I can express my gratitude for posting this. It reminds me of what I have been without for way too long. For over 15 years I have lived in the US, but I cannot deny who I am. I am Canadian, and I'm going home. This video makes me miss it all that much more. I'm moving back to Canada.

Thank you for the much needed reminder…

  21. Didn't capture even half the beauty of Nova Scotia, but still a spectacular video either way. Makes me immensely proud to be Canadian.

  22. thank you for also focusing on manitoba. It's often ignored (along with beautiful Saskatchewan). Manitoba has two huge lakes. Some of the Canadian Shield, flat lands, rolling hills, Polar bear, Moose, black bear, lots of natural beauty. The best part is camping out in the wilderness, less than an hour from a town or city, and seeing NO one! It's like having the whole world to yourself.

  23. C'est un tres bon video, avec des images fantastiques. J'ai visite beaucoup de regions et villes du Canada, et ces images evoquent de tres beaux souvenirs. Such a peaceful country, the True North Strong and Free. Vive le Canada.

  24. What we discovered was that Ottawa is a third rate back water . That just thrives on mediocrity . What a waste of a vacation .

  26. It's a stunning video of very beautiful Canada. Thanks for making and sharing such a divine video. Best Regards to you guys!!!!

  27. Hello Canada!! Celebrate our 150th by listening to this amazing motivational song!! You wont regret it

  28. Such a wonderful fete film for Canada's 150th birthday! As an avid fan of the Vagabrothers' films, I'm stoked that their phenomenal footage is well-represented.

  29. excellent video! little unknown fact that Saskatchewan has the most lakes in Canada. Head further north of PA National park, or south to cypress hills and the natural sand dunes. Camping is top notch.

  30. Love being a Canadian citizen but I genuinely felt this video did not capture the multicultural population Canada often brags about. I felt this video was targeted for white young people because they were the only ones showed in the video. There was also a great amount of repetition of the bloggers used. I did enjoy the video for the most part as it was well edited.

  31. watching this one now , too! KIND THANKS TO YOUR RESPONSE! U deserve it!

Lovely, truly, Unreal! THE CLIPS! wow!MAN!SIMPLY! BREATH TAKING ( and how you blend them) these video Encompass the passion and the spirit of TRAVELING FOR THE LOVE OF IT AND SEEING THE WORLD THROUGH THE EYES OF THE HEARTS OF THE WORLD ( people/HUMANS)- AND WHOM EVER VISITS IT FROM THEIR OWN COUNTRIES!…..I find it not so surprising that the clips need "NO" WORDS { IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO} to show HOW TRULY GREAT IT IS! it now common for PEOPLE NEEDING TO HEAR PEOPLE COMMENT ON HOW PLACES in the US are (oddly thinking its the) best place to be; LIKE NEW YORK, AND HOW GREAT IT IS…and when you get there people are sh1tting RIGHT off the bat , AND LOCALS LAUGH, AND SAY THATS NEW YORK FOR YOU = overall Unfair and Dirty! save your money for real fun for Montreal! you'll be happier for it.

truly, Beauty is an understattment , Its when you get to the place to witness its greatness….I worked ( freelancing) in Paris for several weeks before I had to BOOK OUT OF DODGE , race back home (had another gig come up , but it was getting a little dangerous , from day one- you really can't be in a country without knowing the language. but can be nice once you make friends with the locals WHO DO TRY! ) Weird men like to follow people ! REALLY ODD BEHAVIOR… thought the states were bad… the worst! is WHEN YOU DONT SPEAK FRENCH!…Montreal isnt so bad if you dont , but people should try to blend into a culture they seek to enjoy – whether, Visiting or living! makes the experience so much more exciting! 😆

Again! Thank you! After these few vids…. I started researching much needed details!… YOU SHOULD Change your titles to "INSPIRATIONAL"

  32. okay! THAT ENDING! …. I had my own woodland creature experience in Canada. I went rock climbing with some friends ( i couldn't go up because of the harness was damaged) I ended up just sitting it out, SADDLY! while i sat and had my snack, as i was listening to everyone going up , i kept hearing something rumbling in the bushes! i got scared. Yelled to my friends something was creeping up on me and i couldn't see it as much as i could hear it! it freaked me out!…darting in and out quickly. Horror movie style.

…then nothing happened for a few mins or so, Thought my eyes were playing tricks, and then i started to see the bushes rumble closer and closer to me, til the little bugger ran up my leg! I SCREAMMED SO LOUD! my friend yelled back , WHAT HAPPENED! 'i'M feeding a little chipmunk.I'mfine " THE CUTEST THING EVERY! MAN! WHEN YOU SAY CANADA IS A FREINDLY PLACE , YOU REALLY MEAN IT!…SO i understand the ending too well!

  33. I'm glad I found this. Sometimes I forget how amazing my country is; it's easy when you're stuck in the city and focusing on things like the news, the economy, politics, all that crap. I'm glad some people got to discover the good things about Canada.

  34. In 2 months, I can finally say that Ive travelled from the west to the east coast. Just gotta plan a trip up North now!!

  35. Although Canadian, I have never been kissed by a fawn. ( But I have pissed on a lawn, risked my pawn, and always miss Uncle Don.) I guess I must kill all the baby deer. If I can’t have them, nobody can. Or is that too much ?

  36. Simply stunning! This is the best video I have ever seen, and I have lived in Canada all my life (Alberta). Lots of editing work to put this together so beautifully. Well done! It actually brought tears to my eyes. My deepest thanks!

  40. Does anyone know who the YouTuber is speaking French at 33:16? He's in many other parts of the video, but I just marked that moment. My wife and I absolutely love his energy and want to follow him personally, but we're having difficulty figuring out which Creator he is in the list of contributors? Thank you so much!
