Where to go for a picnic in Prague (Welcometoczech.com)

Welcome to our next video! We are next to
Vysehrad a historic fort. The park which is around is a perfect place for
relaxing or having a picnic but there are so many green places and parks in Prague. We will have a look at them today. Vysehrad is a gorgeous part of Prague just
few minutes from the city center. Thanks to its position on the hill there is a
perfect view to the whole city and the river which flows through Prague. There is also splendid Basilica of St. Peter and Paul which is surrounded by
green parks. Now we are at Kampa which is the most
famous park in the city center. You definitely can’t find a better place to
meet your friends and enjoy your free time. Campa is a great place for having a
picnic. This beautiful island on the river Vltava is located in the part of
Prague called Mala Strana. This park is a meeting point for many young people but
also a place where you can relax or practice yoga. From this place you can
easily walk to visit the Charles Bridge and the historic city centre. And you can walk
along the famous John Lennon’s wall where you can take a selfie or lock the
lovers locker with your partner. The last stop today is a park Letna and
Prague Castle is not far from here. If you don’t want to walk you can go by
beer bike with your friends. Letna is the park which is typical by its own
atmosphere. Almost in the middle you can find a huge metronome – very famous place –
where statue of Josef Stalin used to stand in past communism times. Nowadays
young people meet friends and do sports there such as roller skating or
skateboarding. Prague has much more green places and
parks than we could show in this video. For more details and other inspirations
