[♪♪♪♪] VO: Probably was no more than seven or eight year
old when we started actually winding up. VO: My dad was the assistant lighthouse keeper. VO: First when we came here,
the lighthouse wasn’t automatic. VO: When it was dad’s turn, like, to do his shift,
we would go and wind the light for him VO: You’d run ‘til you got to the top. VO: I can remember it as it was today,
like, even talking about it. VO: Like, I remember just running up, see who
would get up there first, and wind up the light. VO: Look around – you can see it all. VO: Especially on clear days, like, eh, you would
see all around. VO: It was – it was just beautiful.
